Congregation Beth Elohim, fondly known as CBE, offers authentic, meaningful and outside the box Jewish experiences for those in our Brooklyn community and beyond.
We are deeply committed to education for all ages, community-building, spiritual life, and social justice. We are inspired to learn about our tradition while we engage with the present and positively impact our future. Our Reform congregation welcomes seekers from all Jewish movements, from other faiths, and at all levels of Jewish experience, including those who are new to our traditions and those who are questioning.

Shabbat at CBE
Join us for Shabbat services every Friday night in the CBE Chapel at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday mornings in the CBE Sanctuary at 9:30 a.m. Shir L'Shabbat for families with young children (newborn–5) takes place on Shabbat mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the CBE Social Hall.

Book of Remembrance
Although it's still mid-summer, CBE's clergy and staff are already hard at work planning for this year’s High Holy Days. With Yom Kippur comes the Book of Remembrance, a loving reminder of those we have held close to our hearts. The deadline for submissions is September 5. Even if you participated in the CBE Book of Remembrance last year, you must confirm or edit your listing in order to be included this year.
CBE Tots Programs: Registration Now Open!
Our 26-week programs for children 18–26 months and their grown up include Terrific Twos and Art for Tots and begin October 15. CBE members and ECC siblings will receive application priority until September 19. After that, all applications (member and non-member) are prioritized according to the date of their application.
